1.500 athletes, amateurs as well as professionals, use the possibility to train daily at the Rif University Sport Centre. On Friday and Saturday the Sports Centre celebrated its 20th anniversary with a VIP football tournament with sports celebrities such as Judo- European Champion Ludwig Paischer or Turin Olympic Medal Winner Reinfried Herbst. In the evening a gala dinner took place with Olympic Medal Winner and Multi World Champion Alexandra Meissnitzer, Snowboard World Champion Manuela Riegler as well as Paralympics Goldmedal Winner Thomas Geierspichler attending this beautiful event.
The Sports Center in Rif is not only the training centre for Austrians most successful Olympic Champion Felix Gottwald or decathlete Roland Schwarzl, it is a centre for everyone enthusiastic about sports.
