Bid branding roll-out continues 07.08.06

In recent weeks large scale banners carrying Salzburg 2014 branding have been unveiled at major sites across the city including its biggest heat and power station near the A1 highway and at Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart.  The banners went live at the end of July in time for the Salzburg Festival and to give the city's bid an increasingly visible identity. 

The roll-out of Salzburg 2014 branding has continued at pace with banners now in place since last weekend in the mountain area “Snow Region”, which covers the planned venues south of Salzburg (Flachau, Radstadt, Altenmarkt/Zauchensee, Bischofshofen) and in Schönau a. Königssee/Bavaria - the planned venue for the Bob, Luge and Skeleton events.

Local communities have received large branding boards as well as flags designed in the Salzburg 2014 look and feel, which were put up at major buildings, public squares and tourist spots. The communities will also receive information material as well as pins and stickers.

This branding should help to visualize the growing support of the Austrian people towards Salzburg's 2014 Games bid and inform tourists and visitors about Salzburg 2014 before and during the upcoming winter season.
